准噶尔盆地西泉地区石炭系火山喷发旋回划分及地质意义

摘要:

火山喷发旋回和期次的划分对研究火山岩空间展布特征和指导油气开发具有重要的意义.基于岩心观察、岩石薄片鉴定、主微量元素分析、锆石U-Pb测年、测井及地震资料等多种分析手段,综合利用地球物理学和地球化学的方法对西泉地区石炭系火山岩的喷发旋回和期次进行划分.结果表明:西泉地区石炭系火山岩主要划分为2个喷发旋回和5个喷发期次,2个喷发旋回之间以碳质泥岩沉积夹层为界,5个喷发期次以火山碎屑岩-火山熔岩或火山熔岩-火山沉积岩岩性组合为主;喷发期次Ⅰ+Ⅱ—Ⅴ的平面分布呈南北向长条状展布,分布范围由西向东迁移并依次减小.在此基础上,探讨了火山岩喷发旋回和期次的油气地质意义,认为油气主要分布在喷发期次Ⅱ和期次Ⅲ中的火山角砾岩和安山岩中.

Abstract:

The division of volcanic eruption cycles and stages is of great significance to study the spatial distribution characteristics of volcanic rock and guide the development of oil and gas.Based on the analysis methods of observation of cores,identification and quantifying of the thin sections under microscope, analysis of major and trace element, Zircon U-Pb dating,logging and seismic data,it is divided into eruption cycles and stages to the Carboniferous volcanic through the comprehensive utilization of geophysical and geochemical methods in Xiquan area.The results show that the Carboniferous volcanic is divided into 2 eruption cycles and 5 stages in Xiquan area,they are bounded by carbonaceous mudstone deposit between the 2 eruptions cycles and are mainly composed of the lithology combination of pyroclastic-lava or lava-volcanic sedimentary rock among the 5 eruption stages;The-horizontal distribution of eruption stages Ⅰ+Ⅱ-Ⅴ are distributed long strips in north-south,which of distribution range is migrated and gradually reduced from west to east. On the basis of the above study,the geological significance of the volcanic eruption cycles and the stages are discussed that oil and gas are mainly distributed in the eruption stages Ⅱ and Ⅲ in volcanic breccia and andesite.
