路面变形沉降是公路深层隐性病害的外在表现,不仅会降低路面平整度和行车舒适度,甚至会诱发翻车、撞车等严重交通事故,而且也是路面塌陷的前期征兆.探地雷达是一种有效的浅地表地球物理成像方法,利用探地雷达对其进行精细化检测,可以快速查清路面变形沉降区域下方潜伏的深层隐性病害,依据探地雷达波场特征识别隐性病害的类型(如裂缝、土质疏松、沉降、脱空、空洞等),定位其水平位置、埋深、空间范围和走向,评价其严重程度或病害等级,找到路面变形沉降的根本原因,从而为对症下药,制定针对性的非开挖处治设计和维修治理提供科学依据.
Abstract:
Road surface deformation and settlement are the external expression of deeper invisible diseases, which not only affect pavement evenness and driving comfortableness, but even caused serious traffic accidents such as car overturned or crash. It also is the premonition of road collapse. Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is a effective geophysical technique used to image the earth’s shallow subsurface, and has proven to be a very useful tool to solve various kinds of highway engineering problems. The greatest advantages of GPR methods are that they are not destructive when compared to the traditional drill core methods, they are low cost and fast methods. In this paper, the GPR wave field characteristics of different deeper invisible diseases were studied, and the optimal acquisition parameters were discussed. Then GPR was applied to detect and check up on the deeper invisible diseases hiding under the road surface of deformation and settlement. Based on GPR wave field characteristics, the type of deeper diseases (such as crack, soil loose, settlement, void) was identified, the horizontal position, buried depth, spatial scope and trend of the deeper invisible diseases are located, their severities or disease grade are evaluated. The results show that GPR can find the root cause for road surface deformation and settlement, and provide scientific basis for making corresponding design and repair measures using trenchless technology.
